Prelog is preparing for a solemn commemoration of Russian Culture Day, which will be held as part of the event titled the 16th Russian Cuisine on the Međimurje Table. The event is organised by the Kalinka Association of the Russian-speaking Area in Međimurje, and according to information provided by the association, the manifestation is dedicated to preserving and promoting Russian culture, tradition and gastronomic heritage.
The event will take place on Saturday, 7 November 2026, starting at 14:00, in the grand hall of Hotel Panorama in Prelog. It is an event that has gathered numerous visitors and lovers of cultural diversity for many years, and a rich programme is expected this time as well.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Russian specialities, as well as learn about the customs and songs of the Russian people. This, the organisers highlight, achieves the main goal of the event – bringing different cultures together, strengthening friendly ties and contributing to the preservation of the cultural diversity of the Međimurje region.
