A clash between fans of Hajduk and Dutch side Ajax occurred on the Riva promenade this evening. According to reports from Dalmatian media, approximately 150 members of the Torcide fan group attacked a group of Dutch supporters who were being guarded by police.

Flares were thrown during the clash, which lasted for some time. Police, who were already in the vicinity, intervened and blocked all access routes to the Riva. The city remains in a state of siege, with police operations continuing across the area. Dalmatia Danas published footage of the incident.

On one of the recordings from the Street of Liberty, located approximately 15 minutes' walk from the Riva, arrests were visible, along with numerous officers from the intervention and special police units. There are currently no official reports on injuries or arrests resulting from this attack.

Hajduk and Ajax are set to play a UEFA Conference League match today at 18:45 at the Poljud Stadium. The match has already been overshadowed by fan incidents.

Split police arrested a total of 32 individuals on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, including 19 foreign nationals and 13 Croatian citizens. Knives, stones, pyrotechnics, boxing gloves, and other items suitable for attack were found among the detainees.

The police arrested 19 Ajax fans on the Riva. All were handed a seven-day prison sentence and a two-year ban. As the ruling is not yet final, the court ordered a seven-day detention at the Bilje prison facility.
