Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps issued an official warning to Hajduk fans on Tuesday, 3 November, ahead of the third-round Conference League match. The club’s new notice concerns security rules and ticket allocation for the fixture, which takes place on Thursday, 5 November, at 18:45 at Europa Point stadium.

According to Lincoln’s official statement, the club received information that certain Gibraltar residents had contacted Hajduk fans to purchase tickets for them in the home sections. The hosts warn that such purchases do not mean that fans of the Split club will be permitted to watch the match from the home stands. Any Hajduk fan found on those stands could be immediately removed from the stadium.

Lincoln states that stewards may request their removal, even if they possess a purchased ticket. The measures, they claim, have been introduced for the safety of all spectators, and the local population is urged not to participate in the acquisition of tickets for away fans outside the prescribed rules.

Lincoln published specific terms for the sale of tickets for its home Conference League matches on 9 October. To purchase a ticket in the home section, a valid Gibraltar identity card or British passport must be presented, and sales are conducted at the Tercentenary Sports Hall, next to Victoria Stadium.

Away fans must obtain tickets through their own club. Lincoln allocates the official contingent to the visiting team, which then organises the sale and distribution to its fans. Hajduk supporters should therefore check ticket availability directly with the Split club, rather than through individuals offering tickets for home sections.

The match will be played at Europa Point stadium, which holds approximately 2,100 spectators. Lincoln plays its home matches there temporarily due to the reconstruction of Victoria Stadium, and the limited capacity particularly complicates the organisation of away sections. Under UEFA rules, the host must generally ensure at least five per cent of capacity for away fans, but clubs can agree on a larger number of seats. The exact number of tickets allocated to Hajduk is not stated in Lincoln’s latest statement.

Hajduk arrives in Gibraltar after two wins in the Conference League. The Split team beat Ajax 2-1 at Poljud, and then Thun 1-0 in Switzerland, and have a maximum of six points after two rounds.
