Hotel Palazzo President, located in the heart of the city, has been awarded a Michelin Key, making it the first and only hotel in the city to hold this international recognition. The prestigious five-star hotel opened its doors at the start of last summer season.
The Michelin Key is an award that places a hotel among the best in Croatia — Palazzo President is one of just 12 Croatian recipients of this distinction. This gives the city its representative on the prestigious international stage of hotel excellence.
The hotel is situated in the immediate vicinity of the Old Square and just a few steps from Diocletian's Palace, positioning it in the very heart of the historic core. Such a location, combined with five stars and international recognition, makes it a unique address in the city.
The hotel's opening followed an extensive renovation that lasted almost 18 months. The project covered everything — from the facade to the last detail of the interior — ensuring the property was fully restored and prepared for the most demanding guests.
The awarding of the Michelin Key confirms the effort and quality the hotel offers, while simultaneously representing a significant step forward for the city's tourism and economic sector. Palazzo President thus currently stands as the sole holder of this distinction in the city.
