A charity bike ride titled "Pedal on, move yourself" was held on Saturday, 24 October, in Glini, as part of the Pink October observance. Although rain altered the organisers' plans, it did not stop participants from taking part in this humanitarian action.

The ride was organised by the Sveta Agata Glina Association (Sveta Agata Glina Association) and held under the patronage of the City of Glini. Funds raised through entry fees are dedicated to organised transport for female oncology patients attending treatment and medical check-ups, continuing the ongoing support the Association provides to women affected by cancer.

The organisers adapted the programme to the weather conditions, having announced the possibility of rain adjustments before the event. Experienced cyclists, including a group from Sisak, set off on a longer ride, while a portion of recreational cyclists completed a shorter joint loop through the streets of Glini. For all participants, regardless of the chosen route, a shared refreshment and continuation of socialising were scheduled after the ride.

The introductory part of the programme before the start was led by Dr Sanja Štingl Vlašić, president of the Sveta Agata Glina Association. The gathering was joined by the Mayor of Glini, Ivan Janković, the Head of the Topusko Municipality, Ivica Kuzmić, Deputy Sisak-Moslavina County President Mihael Jurić, and the President of the Association of Sports Clubs of the City of Glini, Tomislav Gregurić. Among the participants was also Marija Margušić-Novosel, principal of the Glini Secondary School.

Despite unfavourable weather conditions, the action was successfully carried out, and the organisers highlighted their satisfaction with the turnout and community support. Such events further strengthen awareness of the importance of solidarity with those suffering from cancer, and the Sveta Agata Glina Association continues with activities aimed at helping women battling this disease.
