The children's nursery Cvrkutić, valued at almost 5.5 million euros, was inaugurated in Mokri. The local nursery, according to the city, is the largest and most valuable project in the history of Oroslavje.

The opening ceremony brought together children, parents, nursery staff, and representatives of the City and the County. The newly built facility was blessed by the Reverend Ivan Lastović. The director of the Cvrkuti nursery is Sunčica Terešak, and the City Mayor of Oroslavje, Viktor Šimuni, and the Zagor County, Željko Kolar, were also present at the ceremony.

The project was realised without borrowing, which was highlighted as an important indicator of the stability of city finances. Five years ago, the city of Oroslavje and its users had 20 employees, but now there are 85. Over the same period, the city's budget has grown from 2.5 million euros to 9 million euros.

Oroslavje will soon receive a new three-part sports hall. Work is underway on 19 schools for single-shift teaching and 12 sports halls. The contractor for the sports hall in Oroslavje will be known in October, after which construction will begin, with completion expected by the end of next year.
