The municipality of Kastin will again pay for workbooks for all primary school pupils resident in its area, regardless of which school they attend. Depending on the year, parents will receive between 60 and 120 euros per pupil.
The decision was made by the mayor, in agreement with the local primary school. The highest amount, 120 euros, will be paid to first-year pupils. Pupils in the second to fourth years are allocated 60 euros, fifth-year pupils 90 euros, sixth-year 80 euros, and seventh and eighth-year pupils 110 euros each.
The money is transferred to parents' current accounts after they complete the digital form on the castva.open-city.hr platform. Two forms are available: one for parents of pupils at the local primary school, and another for those attending schools outside Kastin.
Applications are accepted from 2 July to 30 September 2026. The municipality requests that, if possible, the same parent complete the form as last year for children in the second to eighth grades. Exceptionally, a stamped form may also be submitted in person at the registry office at 1 Trg sv. Lucije or sent by email to the municipal administration.
