The municipality of Dubrava will purchase workbooks for primary school students for the 2026/2027 academic year. For this purpose, 25,000 euros have been allocated in the budget. This decision is part of local authority measures to alleviate the burden on families.

This local initiative is complemented by a decision from the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The state provides free textbooks for all primary school students. By combining this state measure with local support, parents of schoolchildren do not incur costs for mandatory school books in the autumn.

The financial support from the municipality of Dubrava is directed exclusively towards workbooks. The 25,000 euros provided will cover all costs associated with the purchase of these materials. This allows parents to fully focus on preparing their children for the start of the new school year without worrying about additional expenses.

This approach to education reflects cooperation between local and state levels of government. While the state covers textbooks, the municipality of Dubrava takes responsibility for workbooks. This creates comprehensive protection for families with children of primary school age.
