The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Assets has granted the municipality of Loban a sum of €40,600. The intended use of these funds is exclusively for the maintenance of an unclassified road in the area of this Zagorje municipality. The funds were allocated as part of the programme for the development of local government and the harmonisation of local standards for 2026.

The objective of this programme is to improve local infrastructure through the co-financing of projects that contribute to better connectivity and the quality of life for residents. A total of 378 applications were received by the ministry from local authorities. The applications covered various local infrastructure projects across Croatia.

Following a thorough administrative review and evaluation process, the ministry made the decision to allocate funds. The total amount approved for the co-financing of projects by all applicants is €13,201,100. This decision results in the allocation of state budget funds based on established priorities and the technical correctness of the applications.

The municipality of Lobor, whose head is Ljubica Jembrih, now has the resources to implement the planned works on local roads. The funds will enable regular maintenance of existing roads, which is crucial for traffic safety and the sustainability of the local infrastructure system. The works will be carried out in accordance with the technical specifications and timelines set out in the programme.
