The town of Trilj has received €90,000 in funding from the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union funds for two development projects. Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds, Nataša Mišić Žigman, handed over the agreements in Dugopolje, as part of national programmes for the balanced development of local communities.
Each of the two projects received €45,000. The Local Community Development Programme is funding the third phase of the development of the promenade along the left banks of the Cetina and Ruda rivers, through which the town aims to improve public space, making it safer and more accessible to residents and visitors.
The remaining €45,000 comes from the Programme for Support to Mountain and Hilly Areas, for the resurfacing of local roads. This project improves the road infrastructure and connectivity of settlements within the town's area.
The City of Trilj has stated that it will continue to utilise available national and EU funding for projects that improve the quality of life in the town and its surrounding villages.
