The municipality of Podstrana has provided additional educational materials, aiming to ensure adequate conditions for education within the local community. This measure is part of a broader set of steps aimed at supporting the realisation of children's right to education, while simultaneously ensuring free transport for students.

Particular attention is paid to the provision of printed materials, with approximately €110,000 (including tax) allocated for the purchase of additional educational resources, including workbooks and collections. In addition to the purchase of printed materials, the municipality has provided free public transport for students, aiming to reduce costs for families and facilitate daily schooling.

It is important to note that the procurement of textbooks, a key element of the educational process, is carried out in collaboration with the Split-Dalmatia County, indicating a joint effort between the local and county levels in providing conditions for quality education. In addition to the measures mentioned, the municipality of Podstrana plans to build a new primary school, which represents a response to the long-standing need for expanded school capacity in this part of Dalmatia.

The construction of the new school building should provide a long-term solution to the growing needs of the local community, ensuring better conditions for students and teaching staff. This investment is part of strategic planning, which aims to provide adequate conditions for education for future generations, taking into account demographic changes and the needs of the current educational system.

These measures are part of a wider range of steps taken by the local community to ensure quality education, taking into account the specific needs of the local community and demographic changes.
