Poliklinika Primari has opened a new, significantly larger space at the Zagrad Centre in Rijeka. The start of operations in the new space was marked by a charity event, with more than 150 guests attending the opening ceremony from the healthcare and academic sectors, the business community, local government, and partners of the clinic.
The new space spans 360 square metres and is located at the same address, Prolaz Marije Krucifikse Kozulić 1, in the Zagrad Centre, two floors above the previous premises. The clinic now has 20 doctors and six nurses, with patients having access to examinations and services across nine medical specialties, as well as preventive and routine check-ups.
The founder and director of Poliklinika Primari, Dr. Vladimir Možetič, stated that he is delighted that a large number of patients have recognised their quality of care, which is why the expansion of the space was necessary. He added that the aim is to continue providing professional healthcare with a personalised approach, focusing on the specific causes of health issues.
The opening of the new space marked the launch of the 'Pink October' project, which is being carried out as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Poliklinika Primari, in collaboration with the 'Heart for Her' Association, is providing free breast ultrasound scans for women aged 30 to 50 who are not included in the national screening programme. The project is supported by the City of Rijeka, with the support of the Rijeka Tourist Board.
Appointments can be booked from 1 October, on weekdays from 6 pm to 8 pm, by calling the 'Heart for Her' Association at 095 391 2242. The scans are free of charge until the allocated slots are filled. Poliklinika Primari has, for the occasion of Pink October, prepared a special offer for its patients: a 15 per cent discount on breast ultrasound scans.
