The 22nd Croatian Ploughing Championship, a competition gathering top athletes from across the country, took place in Delnice. Participants from the Virovitičko-Podravina county competed in the traditional sport.
Ivan Šimatić, in particular, stood out among the competitors, achieving a significant result. Šimaki secured 5th place in the country in the ploughing discipline, confirming a high level of preparation and skill in this specific category.
In the furrowing category, another representative from Virovitičko-Podravina, Ivan Mihić, also achieved a top placement. Mihić finished 9th in the country, which represents a solid result at the national level.
These results highlight the continued participation of athletes from this region of Croatia in traditional ploughing competitions, where ploughing skills and horse handling are assessed against strict criteria.
