The Kraljević Library and Reading Room holds two albums of old postcards depicting scenes of Kraljević and the surrounding area. The collection has been digitised and published on the Zavičajna digital library (digitalnaknjiznicapgz.hr) and eKultura portals, making it accessible to the wider public.

The two portals gather digitised cultural heritage, providing access to collections of preserved, historic, and valuable heritage material significant to local history. By publishing on these platforms, the material becomes a cultural asset, thereby permanently protecting it and making it accessible to users.

The library is marking the 165 years of its existence and work through this project. The digitisation of the old postcards is part of the effort to preserve valuable local heritage and make it available for research and study.

Financial support for the digitisation project was provided by institutions and partners supporting the preservation of cultural heritage. This has enabled the two albums featuring images of Kraljević and the surrounding area to be made available online.

The Zvičajna digital library and eKultura bring together digitised material from across the region, with the Kraljević collection of old postcards joining a number of other sources that testify to local history. The published material thus becomes part of a shared heritage fund accessible to all.
