Lepoglava has once again become the centre of European lace-making. The 30th International Lace Festival, which attracted visitors and experts from various parts of Europe, concluded in the town. The three-day event traditionally brings together lace enthusiasts and those following traditional crafts.
Special attention is paid to international cooperation, which was evident this year through the participation of partners from abroad. The partner country was Belgium, highlighting the connection between Croatian tradition and European heritage. Such meetings allow for the exchange of experience and the preservation of lace-making techniques passed down through generations.
Organisers ensured that visitors had a pleasant stay, offering delicious food throughout the duration of the event. This created a pleasant atmosphere that encouraged socialising and the formation of new friendships among participants from different regions.
The final part of the programme was marked by a concert, which closed the three-day event. This final note added a special charm to the event, leaving a lasting impression on all those present. The festival has once again confirmed its importance as a significant cultural event in the region, promoting the values of traditional crafts and cultural exchange.
