Ludens Theatre is entering the realisation phase of two new co-productions – the play 'I Was Not Looking for It' and Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. The project links Karlovac, Vinkovci and Koprivnica, with the new theatre season already having begun.

In Karlovac, at the presentation of the new season at Zorin Dom, the new co-production by Ludens Theatre and Zorin Dom was presented – the play 'I Was Not Looking for It'. The play will be directed by Vanja Jovanović, based on the award-winning play by Hana Kunić. The co-production was presented by Luden's Theatre executive producer Sven Šestak and director of Zorin Dom, Milivoj Juras.

'This is a contemporary dramatic text that addresses violence in theatrical circles, but also violence in general, from a female perspective. The play combines the seriousness of the theme with humour, metaphorical quality and linguistic playfulness. Following the premiere, the project 'I Was Not Looking for It' will continue its theatrical life through guest performances and meetings with the audience.

In Vinkovci, rehearsals for Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' officially began today, directed by Josip Novak. The play is based on one of the most famous works by William Shakespeare, and all arrangements have been completed between Luden's Theatre and the Vinkovci City Theatre for its realisation. Novak is a director well known to the Luden's audience, having previously staged 'Testosterone', which achieved notable success on the Luden's stage.

The two new co-productions are thus entering the realisation phase, linking Karlovac, Vinkovci and Koprivnica. Luden's Theatre is committed to collaborating with theatres across Croatia and creating new plays for audiences in different regions.
