In Slatina, on 6 September, the traditional competition in cooking beef goulash, known as the Open Championship, was held. Namely, the competition in cooking slavonski čobanac, which had been an integral part of the programme, was not held this year. The reason for this was African swine fever, which affected the organisational structure of the entire event.
Despite the changes, the event retained its identity, with the main focus placed on traditional beef goulash. The organisers made sure that a pleasant atmosphere was created, and participants had the opportunity to show their skills in preparing traditional dishes.
