The twelfth edition of the Baška Outdoor Festival took place from 9 to 11 October, drawing in over 1,500 participants in sports and recreational activities. Despite rain and challenging conditions during parts of the weekend, the majority of the programme proceeded as planned, with Sunday bringing stable weather and a greater number of outdoor activities.
The 10th anniversary edition of the Kr 'n' Roll MTB marathon brought together over 400 participants from nine countries. The largest number of cyclists came from Croatia and Slovenia, with riders also arriving from Hungary, Italy, Austria, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany. Rain during the race further complicated conditions on the track, particularly on muddy and rocky sections.
On the same day, the 16th edition of the Kr 'n' Trail took place, with over 600 participants registered. Runners could choose from three routes of varying difficulty, including the longest, the 24-kilometer Challenger category. The race started in the rain, and the weather conditions further complicated movement along rocky and slippery sections above Baška.
The Sunday programme included the Rocky Hill Hike, which gathered 100 participants for a 14.5-kilometre trek. In rock climbing, part of the 'Touch the Sky' programme, more than 40 people participated over the weekend. The 'Edison' zipline, which was not operational on Friday and Saturday due to weather conditions, resumed operations on Sunday.
The family section of the programme included morning yoga and activities for children. The 'Fast & Curious' Kids Run gathered 100 children aged three to 12, who ran on tracks of 100, 200, and 400 metres. According to the organisers, this represented almost double the turnout compared to the previous year.
The Baška Outdoor Festival was organised by the Baška Tourist Board and Valamar Riviera, with support from sports partners. The next edition, the 13th, is scheduled for 8–10 October 2027.
