The fifteenth edition of the Kaštel Regatta will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, in the waters of Kaštel Bay. The organiser, JK Giričić from Kaštel Gomilica, expects more than 40 yachts to register, with a total of 150 participants in the regatta.
The start of the regatta is scheduled for 10:00, with competition in the OPEN class. The yachts will be divided into five groups, racing in the Kaštel Bay. Detailed instructions will be provided to the sailors in the registration instructions for the regatta.
The end of the sailing and the regatta itself is scheduled for 17:30. The main sponsor of the regatta is the City of Kaštela, and the organizers thank all involved parties from the city, as well as the mayor, Denis Ivanović.
Participants will begin the evening gathering at 18:30 at the Spinnaker Restaurant in Marina Kaštel, Kaštel Gomilica. The festive dinner begins at 19:00, featuring roast lamb on the skewer and other delicacies, along with entertainment to live music. During the evening, the trophies won will be presented, and a small surprise will be arranged for the fastest boat of the regatta.
This year's regatta is dedicated to the memory of Marina Bedal (1949–2025), a long-standing member of the club and a dear friend who passed away last year. He will be remembered in a short memorial programme at that evening.
