The Lošinj Regatta took place in the part of the Lošinj channel opposite Lošinj port, as reported by Novi List. At the start of the competition, the bura wind provided favourable conditions for sailing.
Crews on traditional wooden boats participated in the regatta. The participants were mainly from the Istria-Kroatia region, which gives the competition a regional character.
The gathering of crews confirms the continuity of this competition, which has been held for many years. Traditional wooden boats were once again the focus of attention for those gathered on the Lošinsky promenade.
Alongside the regatta, the 'Lošinj' festival concluded, which was held in parallel with the sailing programme. This brought to a close a series of events related to the sea and the tradition of sailing in the area.
