At the Croatian Karate Championship for the youngest age groups in Jastrebarsko, Karate klub Metković is represented by six competitors. On the first day of competition, the most notable result was achieved by Gabrijel Turudić, who won a bronze medal.

Turudić opened his campaign with a victory in the first bout, winning 3:1. In the second bout, which also offered a chance to reach the final, he suffered a defeat. However, he secured a place in the repechage for the medal, where he won a narrow 6:5 victory to clinch the bronze.

Nicole Petković also had a notable performance. She won her first bout convincingly, with a score of 9:2, securing a spot in the bronze medal repechage. In the decisive bout for the medal, she lost 1:1, but the bronze went to her opponent due to the first-point advantage. Petković finished the competition in fifth place.

Nedjeljko Prusac was unlucky in the draw. He lost in the first round and was left without the possibility of a repechage, meaning his participation in the championship ended at the start.

The championship programme in Jastrebarsko continues today, when three more competitors will defend the colours of Karate klub Metković: Lucija Jakić, Mihaela Bebić and Lucija Ćorić. Their performances could complete the Metković club's results at this championship.
