Two days after Aleksandar Vučić's defeat in the elections, his wife Tamara Vučić spoke out. She chose Instagram to express her stance, addressing the public with a reflection on the period that had just passed.

Tamara Vučić wrote that a chapter in her life was ending and thanked those who had cheered her on, encouraged and supported her over the years. She highlighted that there had been sleepless nights, but not because of the weight of her duties, rather because of moments when she had failed to help someone who needed assistance.

In the post, she stated that above all else, gratitude remained, as she described it as an immense honour and a great privilege to work for Serbia. She wrote that all the children she had met on that journey would forever hold a special place in her heart. She added that she was immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve her country and her people with devotion and dedication.

She concluded the post with the words: "May God be our help, as a nation and a country. Amen."
