Željko Mitrović, owner of Pink Media Group, announced that he has dismissed all ensembles of the Odeon Theatre, leaving 150 employees without work. He spoke via social media, stating that he is experiencing one of the hardest days of his life.

"Today is one of the hardest days of my life, full of emotion, love, warmth and understanding," Mitrović said. He added: "I have dismissed all ensembles at the Odeon Theatre, 150 people have lost their jobs, and across the entire system I will have to dismiss around 1,000 people, that is, in a dozen companies that have not yet turned a profit."

Mitrović bid farewell to the employees with the words: "See you, dear friends, in better times. Love, your Žex." He did not reveal which companies were involved or when further dismissals might occur, but he announced that a further reduction in the number of workers in other companies within his business system could follow soon.

The Odeon Theatre opened in September 2024, after Mitrović took over the former Odeon cinema in central Belgrade and converted it into a theatrical space. At the end of last year, Mitrović had hinted at the possible closure of the theatre and cuts within the business system.
