The cyclone over the Adriatic continues towards the south-east, and its departure brings a change in the weather. A high-pressure system will soon take over the area, its influence spreading from south-west Europe.

The accumulated rainfall in many Dalmatian locations fell short of the forecast. The main reason for the lower rainfall was Friday, which remained almost dry. According to official data from DHMZ, the most rain fell in Kaštel (Split Airport), with 71.6 litres per square metre. Ploče follows with 60 litres, while third place goes to Split with 55.3 litres per square metre.

Due to the cyclonic system in the eastern Mediterranean, strong to very strong bura (Bura) winds are expected. The Meteo Alert issued by the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ) has already issued a warning for the bura. Due to the cyclonic activity in the south of 'Italy' (the boot), a lot of cloud cover is expected on the first day of the new week. The bura will subside by evening, with maximum gusts expected on the night of Tuesday and the first part of Tuesday. Potential problems in the normal flow of traffic are expected due to the bura.

The bura will clear the clouds on Tuesday, and the rest of the week will offer an abundance of sunshine. Minimum temperatures, especially in the interior of Dalmacia, will be 'thin' by mid-week. Maximum temperatures will be within the long-term average or slightly lower, around twenty degrees Celsius. Rain gauges in Dalmatia will remain completely dry in the coming week.

The new week will be characterised by the bura, high pressure, and a wealth of sunshine.
