The first programme-workshop aimed at preschool-aged children was held at the Narodna čitaonica i knjižnica (Narodna Reading Room and Library). This initiative was launched as part of the 'Novljanski knjižni svjetionik' (Novigrad Literary Lighthouse) project.
The workshop took place yesterday, gathering 43 preschoolers from the Dječji vrtić Fijolica (Fijolica Nursery). The children attended the workshop accompanied by their educators.
Through this programme, the library is initiating a series of activities designed for the youngest audience. The first edition brought together preschool children, who had the opportunity to participate in activities prepared within the reading room space.
The 'Novljanski knjižni svjetionik' (Novigrad Literary Lighthouse) project thus gains its child-focused programme content, with the first workshop held in collaboration with the Dječji vrtić Fijolica (Fijolica Nursery), whose educators accompanied the children throughout the session.
The Grad Novog Vinodolskog (City of Novigrad na Vinodolskom), which originally issued the statement regarding the workshop, did not provide details on the future schedule of workshops, although the first programme has already been held and attracted the expected number of participants.
