Officers from the Lika-Senj Police Administration have continued intensified activities aimed at raising road safety standards in the area they cover. These measures are part of a broader strategy to reduce the number of traffic accidents and offences, with a particular emphasis on the behaviour of drivers of personal transport vehicles.

The key objective of these police interventions is to prevent the most serious traffic offences, which pose a serious threat to the safety of road users. During surveillance, the police paid particular attention to the offence of not wearing a protective helmet, which is one of the common causes of serious injuries in the event of a crash.

As part of the conducted checks, officers from the Perušić Traffic Police Station temporarily seized three electric scooters during surveillance. This measure was taken in response to established offences related to the operation of these vehicles, with the aim of deterring future offenders from similar actions.

Such preventive measures and penalties are part of the continuous work of the Lika-Senj police to ensure order and peace in traffic. The goal is to create safer conditions for all users of road infrastructure in this part of Croatia through consistent application of legal provisions.
