The Committee for Scholarships for Pupils and Students of the City of Ogulin has established draft ranking lists for the award of scholarships to secondary school pupils for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a step preceding the final decision on which pupils will be entitled to a scholarship in the next academic year.
The scholarships are intended for gifted pupils, pupils training in deficit occupations, and pupils of lower social status. This aims to support different groups of pupils — from those with outstanding achievements to those who most need financial assistance, as well as those being educated for professions where there is a shortage of staff in the labour market.
A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded, with a monthly amount of €100. The scholarships will be paid out over one school year, meaning that the selected pupils will receive support throughout the entire academic year.
Each participant in the competition has the right to file a written objection to the draft ranking list with the mayor of the City of Ogulin. An objection can be filed within eight days of the publication of the ranking list, and can be submitted by post or delivered in person at the City of Ogulin secretariat.
The mayor's decision on an objection is final. After the deadline for filing objections has expired and they have been considered, the mayor will establish the final ranking lists and issue individual decisions on the award of scholarships.
