The international YOTA Summer Camp 2026 successfully concluded in the Austrian town of Wagrain. The annual event, which brings together young enthusiasts of radio technology, took place from 25 July to 1 August 2026. The event attracted participants from more than 30 countries worldwide, confirming its international significance and popularity among young radio amateurs.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, skills, and experiences related to the radio amateur service. Although the official schedule provided for a duration of seven days, the entire programme took place within the aforementioned weekly period, extending to 1 August. The event served as a platform for connecting young technicians from various parts of Europe and the world.
Three young radio amateurs represented Croatia at this gathering. The delegation included Erika Nolla Fila from Daruvar, Ivan Nožina from Kaštilac, and Julia Gladulić from Sisak. Their participation is part of a broader effort to encourage young talent to engage in this technical field.
Their presence at the camp highlights the importance of continuously involving Croatian youth in international technical initiatives. Participation in such events allows young radio amateurs to expand their knowledge and gain new experiences in an international setting.
