Ante Jurković has opened AJ Atelier, a new space dedicated to contemporary floral design. The Zagreb venue combines creativity, aesthetics and a modern approach to floral design, and is located on Nodilova Street in the wider centre of Zagreb.

The interior of AJ Atelier is signed by Nikolina Pišek, who is an interior designer as well as a manager. Pišek is an interior designer by education, but noted that she rarely engages in interior design due to a lack of time. This time, she said, she made an exception to help a friend.

AJ Atelier founder Ante Jurković stated that he wanted to create a space where flowers would not just be a nice gift, but part of everyday life and a way for people to express emotions. The interior of AJ Atelier is designed as a modern floral oasis where flowers become the central element of the space, and the concept is based on creating floral arrangements tailored to different occasions, spaces and the emotions they convey.

The story of AJ Atelier began at the Zagreb Flower Market. Jurković, in collaboration with Barcaffe, distributed more than 350 bouquets, signalling the new direction of his work.

Jurković had previously collaborated with Iva Todorić, with whom he jointly ran a florist on Kaptol in Zagreb. The partnership ended after seven months, and Iva Todorić continued selling flowers in the space on Kaptol. Jurković then opened his florist in the wider centre of Zagreb, on Nodilova Street.
