The TEUTA studio of contemporary dance from Čakovec performed at the 15th edition of the Šibenik Dance Festival, one of the most significant contemporary dance events in Croatia. The studio's dancers, comprising more than 70 children and young people, performed five choreographies by Nikolina Meković.
The programme featured the choreographies 'Geneza', 'Moja sjena', 'Kada se razlije crveno', 'Izgubljeno u ritmu' and 'Ranjivi jelen'.
'It is a great honour to be part of the Šibenik Dance Festival. Each performance, each show, and each workshop leaves an indelible mark on our work,' Meković said.
The studio has been in operation for more than 30 years, and has been participating in the festival since 2012. During this period, it has represented the Croatian dance scene at guest performances in eight European countries. The performance at this year's festival was supported by funds from the public needs in culture of the City of Čakovec.
