Lions Club Zadar and A'mare restaurant are organising a charity sales exhibition titled “For Women and Children. For a Safer Home”, aimed at raising funds for Duga Association, which provides support to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
The exhibition will feature works by Zadar artists Ana Jagić and Zoran Debelić. All funds raised from the sale of their artworks will be directed to Duga Association, thereby seeking to further strengthen the organisation’s work in assisting those who have suffered domestic violence.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, 21 October, at 18:00 at A'mare restaurant. Admission for visitors costs 15 euros, and tickets can be purchased at the restaurant entrance. In addition to buying a ticket, citizens can offer support through a direct donation to the charity account opened for this purpose, with IBAN HR2724070001500030362.
Ana Jagić is a Zadar academic artist trained in Zagreb, who also gained artistic experience in Antwerp and London. She runs Atelier Jagić Ana. Zoran Debelić is a Zadar painter who runs the Anima gallery. Their joint appearance at this exhibition is part of the broader charitable engagement of Lions Club Zadar and A'mare restaurant.
The goal of the initiative is to provide concrete support to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, and the organisers invite all interested parties to contribute to achieving this goal by attending or making a donation.
