Tatjana Cameron Tajči shared a series of photos from the American premiere of her son Blais's short film on Instagram. The film, titled "The View Was Everything", was screened at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival in the US state of Georgia, and was inspired by a love for Croatia.
The singer expressed pride in her son and in Croatia being represented at the festival. "It was a special experience to see his film, inspired by a love for Croatia, on the big screen in front of an audience. I am proud of Blais, but also that Croatia is represented at this festival among many brilliant film productions," Tajči said.
Her production company, Cameron Productions, is credited as the executive producer of the film. "It is a great honour to be here and in the role of film producer, and the production company Cameron Productions is signed as executive producer in the film. I look forward to new films and interesting conversations that await us during this week," she added.
Young Blais had the opportunity to pose on the red carpet with Hollywood star Keanu Reeves, known for his roles in the film hits "The Matrix" and "John Wick". Tajči shared a photo of the encounter with the message: "What an incredible week!"
Tajči remains in the memory of the Croatian public for her performance at Eurosong in 1990 in Zagreb, where she represented then-Yugoslavia with the song "Hajde da ludujemo". In the early 1990s, she decided to leave Croatia and move to the United States of America.
She started a family with her husband Matthew Shane Cameron, with whom she had three sons – Dante, Evan and Blais. Her husband died in 2017 after a battle with lung cancer. After his loss, she continued to raise her sons and build a life in Nashville, and today she is also fulfilling herself in film production.
