Sergej Jakirović, the manager of Hull, watched the U19 match between Croatia and France yesterday. He cheered on the national team from the stands, where his son Leon Jakirović, a player for Inter, was taking part.
Jakirović, a former Croatian international, attracted the attention of many spectators who recognised him at the stadium. Many approached him, asking for a photo with him as a memento, and Jakirović did not refuse anyone.
He posed happily with everyone who approached, showing a friendly demeanour towards the fans. Among those who took a photo with him were four young athletes from the headline image in Nedelišće, Dunjkovec, and Pretinac.
