Friends of the late Zlatko Plazonjić, known as 'Zlaja', have re-opened the Rock Cafe D8, the bar owned by the deceased. The gathering in memory of 'Zlaja' is scheduled for Tuesday evening, exactly one month after his death in a traffic accident on 29 August.

The first part of the evening will begin with the raising of a portrait of 'Zlaja', created by Slobodan Kos. This will symbolically return 'Zlaja's' image to the space, which has long been a meeting point for rock and blues enthusiasts.

The musical part of the evening will be curated by the host of the 'Blues Bar' programme on Radio 057, who will play music at the gathering. This programme has been an integral part of the D8 Rock Cafe's musical scene, so the bar will once again be filled with rock and blues.

'Zlaja' was a biker, a great humanitarian and a good soul in Zadar. It is these qualities, according to his friends, that led to the decision to re-open the bar and hold a joint remembrance for the man who left a deep mark on the community.

The gathering will take place on Tuesday evening at the D8 Rock Cafe, with friends inviting all who knew him to join in the remembrance.
