A skater performing as Ariel in the "Disney on Ice" show fell and hit her head hard on the ice while executing a difficult figure. The incident occurred in front of a full house, with many children in the audience.
According to the video that went viral on TikTok, the skater was wearing the costume of Princess Ariel from "The Little Mermaid". Her partner, who plays Prince Eric, lifted her by one leg and began to spin. The audience followed their performance with loud cheers.
During the spin, the partner lost his balance and dropped his partner, after which he also fell. The skater hit her head and body hard on the ice. In the video, she can be seen holding her head and writhing in pain after the fall.
Her partner immediately rushed to help her. After lying on the ice for a few moments, she managed to sit up. She appeared shaken but quickly composed herself and, with his help, stood up. They then skated off the ice together, and before leaving, they briefly turned and waved to the audience.
The video was posted on TikTok by user PlanoPlaysGames and quickly spread across social media. Many expressed concern in the comments about the force of the impact. One user wrote: "He nearly broke her head on the ice, my God". Another user replied: "He did." Someone else commented: "That looked really bad". One viewer wrote: "Oh my God, she could have died."
There were also those who praised the skater for managing to compose herself, stand up and leave the ice with her partner's help, despite the painful fall. There is currently no confirmed information on whether the skater was injured or how serious any potential injuries are.
