Crikvenia emerged as the winner of the traditional sports games held in Poreč from 9 to 11 October. Representatives from the three partner towns – Crikvenica, Poreč, and Rovin – took part in the event.
The Sports Meeting of the Three Towns is a traditional event that has brought together representatives of these towns for more than 25 years through sport, socialising, and the nurturing of friendly relations. This year, Poreč hosted the meeting, with participants testing their skills across various sports disciplines.
The competitive segment proceeded in a spirit of sportsmanship, with the final results crowning Crikvenia as the winner of the traditional sports games. This confirmed the success of their representatives across various disciplines.
Beyond the competition, the meeting served to strengthen the bonds between the partner towns. Through joint activities and socialising, the participants from Crikvenia, Poreč, and Rovin have maintained friendly relations for more than two and a half decades.
The event is held regularly, with each of the three towns taking turns to host. This year’s edition in Porech brought together representatives from all three towns, who competed in various sports disciplines, with Crikvenia ultimately declared the overall winner.
