Preparations for the All Saints' Day holiday are already in full swing, with residents visiting florists and markets these days to choose floral arrangements, candles and lanterns for the graves of their loved ones. The situation was checked in Koprivnica and Ludbreg, where the offer is rich, but prices have risen significantly compared to last year.
One resident in Koprivnica said she was still browsing the offer at the Koprivnica market because the choice of flowers and candles is large. In her impression, prices are higher than last year. Regarding candles, she said, they take both artificial and real flowers, and there are cheaper candles at 10 euros, but also many more expensive ones.
Her colleague revealed that when choosing flowers, she prefers artificial arrangements, although real flowers are prettier. She likes real flowers more because they are prettier, but due to durability and the price difference, she more often decides on artificial ones. Prices, she added, are much higher than last year, and arrangements of real flowers have particularly increased in price. She buys the most at the market because the prices are more favourable.
One of the sellers said that customers are mostly looking at and seeking grandifloras and multifloras. Interest is already high, and next week it will certainly be even greater. She has not raised prices because people have less money as it is, and retail chains significantly lower prices, which then affects them at the market as well.
In Ludbreg, preparations for the All Saints' Day holiday began a week earlier. One resident of Ludbreg said that customs do not change from year to year and that the most important thing is that there is as much flower and lanterns on the graves. Preparations are traditional, just that there is as much flower and lanterns, she said.

A seller at the market revealed that the prices of floral arrangements range from ten euros upwards and that they have not increased prices this year compared to last.
