The charity campaign "Bearded Month of Food and Drink" runs throughout November, with a portion of revenue from selected dishes and drinks dedicated to raising funds for the purchase of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine for a hospital in Split. The initiative continues this November following an excellent response last year.
Each participating hospitality venue selects one or more dishes or drinks from its menu and directs a portion of the revenue from their sales to a charitable fund during November. Citizens can thus enjoy their favourite food and drink while simultaneously participating in a campaign aimed at improving healthcare and helping in the fight against cancer.
Support for the initiative has been provided by a large number of restaurants, cafés and bars. This year's edition features ArtiČok, Bokeria, Bokamorra, Buffet Fife, Calypso, Capo Grill Zadar, Casa Sol, Cocktail Bar Paloma Nera, Corto Maltese Freestyle Food, Da'Mar (Marvie Hotel & Health), Dvor, Elephant Bar, Fabrique Supper Club, Gudin.Pigeria, LUI restoran, Palma Beach Club, Pazarelli, Plan B, Pub & Grill Ventil, Rusulica, Sanctuary Cantina, Šalša Comfort Food, Sunset Food 1, Šug, Tap B, The Harp, Tica, Vinski bar Lardo and YumYum Burgeri.
The organisers have launched a new subpage on the official website of the Bearded Auction, created by the initiative's partner Book me a table. The subpage consolidates an overview of all participating hospitality venues, their selected offerings and information on how to participate in one place. The detailed offer of all participants is available on the campaign's official website.
The list of participants is not yet finalised. All interested hospitality providers can still join and support the fundraising for the MRI machine with their contribution. The call is open to restaurants, cafés, bars and other hospitality venues that wish to become part of this charitable story.
