The end of October will be marked by air temperatures fluctuating within the multi-year average, but also falling below it, according to current meteorological maps.

Deviations towards lower values will be most pronounced in the morning hours, when the coolest parts of the day are expected. During the rest of the day, temperatures should remain closer to the usual values for this time of year.

Meteorological maps are closely monitored by Šolić, who has examined their content and is tracking the development of the situation. His insight into the maps suggests that an exceptionally warm period is not expected at the end of the month, but rather a combination of average and below-average temperatures.

The Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service is currently located at Ravnice 48, which is its temporary address. Despite the temporary accommodation, the service continues to monitor weather conditions and prepare data relevant for the analysis of the past period.

The service is, in fact, awaited for the official climatological analyses of the month. These will provide the final picture of how much temperatures during October deviated from the multi-year average and in which periods the greatest deviations occurred.

Until the publication of these analyses, available meteorological maps remain the main guide for assessing weather conditions at the end of the month. According to them, mornings will be the coldest part of the day, while daytime temperatures will mostly follow average values for this time of year.
