Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Ultra, will be unveiled in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to sources in the supply chain cited by GSMArena, as reported by Index.hr.

According to the report, the device’s design is finalised, and the phone has entered mass production. Sources state that there have been no delays, and the foldable model is set to go on sale at the same time as the Pro models, in late September.

Rumours of a potential delay in the launch or release date emerged following the suspension of production of the Apple AirPods Pro, but these have been dismissed by several independent sources in the supply chain.

The question of initial stock levels remains. It is expected that on the day of launch, the number of foldable devices available will be significantly lower than that of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, so initial quantities, if very limited, could sell out in a very short time.
