The city of Pakrac has signed 15 grant agreements with local entrepreneurs, worth a total of 36,635.55 euros. The agreements, part of the second tranche of this year's programme for supporting employment and business development, were signed on 8 July in the town hall.
This follows a previous round in which the city had concluded 21 agreements with entrepreneurs, totalling 39,487.32 euros. Combined with the second tranche, the city has now supported 36 business projects.
Among the new grants, one was allocated for the establishment of a workshop. Since three new workshops received support in the first round, a total of four new workshops have been opened in the Pakrac area with city assistance since the start of the year.
The city is implementing the programme to encourage employment and business development in order to retain existing and attract new entrepreneurs, and to stimulate the creation of jobs in its area.
