The Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure has confirmed that the marina for yachts built by Željko Kerum on public maritime property is illegal. In line with this ruling, the ministry has ordered a ban on the use of the facility, stating that the marina must be removed.
The facility is part of Kerum’s luxury resort, and according to available information, Kerum has been operating the marina for years. The situation came to public attention after the Telegram published news of the facility’s illegality, confirming that the works were carried out in breach of regulations.
The fact that the marina was built on public maritime property without the necessary permits led to intervention by state authorities. With the use of the illegal marina now officially banned, the resort’s owner faces the obligation to dismantle the structure in compliance with existing regulations on the use of public maritime property.
