Ivica Kovačević and Jonatan Kubena are the winners of the 2026 doubles tournament at Teniskog kluba Đurđenovac (Đurđenovac Tennis Club). In the final, they defeated the pair of Josip Kapraljević and Saša Smodiš with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
The tournament brought together 12 pairs over two weeks. Following the group stage, the two highest-placed pairs from each group advanced to the quarter-finals, while the third-placed pairs competed in a consolation tournament. Many close matches were decided in a super tie-break, and the competition was accompanied by a good atmosphere on the courts and in the stands, with socialising and cooked wine.
Kovačević and Kubena entered the final as the second-placed pair in Group A, reaching the title without dropping a set in three knockout matches. In the quarter-finals, they beat the pair Kučak/Trošelj J. 6-0, 6-2; in the semi-finals, they defeated Andrea Trošelj and Mateo Kubala 6-2, 6-1; and in the final, they took first place with two sets to 6-3.
Kapraljević and Smodiš began their path to the final with a comeback in the quarter-finals against the pair Borjan/Ostrun. After losing the first set, they won 2-6, 6-0, 10-6, and in the semi-finals, they beat Maja and Perica Lelić 6-1, 6-3.
Maja and Perica Lelić reached the semi-finals with a victory over the pair Androš Igor/Ostrun Iva, 2-6, 6-4, 10-6. After their semi-final defeat, they played one more match where the winner was decided in a super tie-break. In the match for third place against the pair Andrea Trošelj/Mateo Kubala, they lost the first set 3-6 but won the second 6-2. In the decisive super tie-break, they were convincing with 10-1 to secure third place.
Trošelj and Kubala finished the tournament fourth, after beating the pair Domnjak/Fridi 6-2, 6-4 in the quarter-finals. The consolation tournament was won by the pair Knežić/Kolgjeraj, who beat the pair Kuzminski/Trošelj I. 7-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals. The final match against the pair Delić/Turalija was registered in favour of Knežić/Kolgjeraj without a contest. Delić and Turalija had previously beaten the pair Ibriks/Zrilić 6-2, 7-5 in the semi-finals. Third place in the consolation tournament went to the pair Kuzminski/Trošelj I. without a contest, in a match against the pair Ibriks/Zrilić.
The tournament was held under the patronage of the Općina Đurđenovac (Đurđenovac Municipal Council). Medals and trophies were presented by the president of Teniskog kluba Đurđenovac, Robert Ostrun. The award ceremony concluded two weeks of tennis matches and socialising among participants and spectators.
