The town of Čazma has allocated funds for a one-off payment to residents who are eligible for a guaranteed minimum income. This measure aims to alleviate financial burdens during the period when heating costs for homes are at their highest, thereby ensuring a basic standard of living for the most vulnerable groups.

The amount of aid is 160 euros per beneficiary. This financial support is intended solely for those who meet the conditions for qualifying for social assistance, with the aim of easing the burden of paying for housing and heating during the winter season. The town has taken responsibility for identifying beneficiaries, ensuring that funds reach those in greatest need.

A key feature of this measure is the ease of access to the funds. Beneficiaries do not need to submit separate applications or complete additional documentation. The payment is based on a list of beneficiaries maintained by the Social Welfare Office, Local Office in Čazma, which serves as the primary source of data for assessing needs and processing payments.

The payment will be made in October 2026, with funds transferred to beneficiaries via postal money orders from Hrvatska pošta. This method of payment ensures security and transparency, allowing beneficiaries to use the funds for their intended purpose, namely to cover heating costs and other basic needs during the colder months.
