Residents of Umag and their guests will be ushered into the new, 2027 year by Željko Bebek. The musician will perform on New Year's Eve on 1 May Square, according to an announcement from the organisers.
Bebek's concert will be held as part of the festive event 'Umagični blagdani', which gathers content aimed at domestic and foreign visitors during the holiday period. The performance on the central city square is the main musical highlight of the New Year's Eve programme.
Alongside Željko Bebek, DJ Shurki will also take the stage. His set will not end with the concert — he will continue playing music after Bebek leaves the stage.
This will extend the party on 1 May Square until the early hours of the morning, allowing visitors to remain on the square after midnight. The programme is designed to keep the audience throughout the night.
