Vito Ferara, a member of ŠKRM Pirka from Tribunj, has defended his world junior title in the boat fishing discipline. He confirmed the new title at the World Sport Fishing Championship held in Torrevieja, Spain.
Ferara competed as a member of the Croatian national sport fishing team. In addition to the individual gold at this year's championship, he also secured a team bronze, completing the Croatian squad's campaign in Spain.
With this victory, Ferara repeated his success from last year's World Championship held in Montenegro. He also reached the title of world junior champion at that event, and by defending his title, he has confirmed the continuity of top results in the junior competition.
The gold medal in Torrevieja is another of his world gold medals. With this, he has concluded his collection in the junior competition with three individual world titles, rounding off an exceptionally successful period in the youngest competition category.
Alongside the individual title and team bronze, Ferara's performance in Spain also confirmed the quality of the club from Tribunj, of which he is a member. Sport fishing from a boat has thus received another major recognition through the result he achieved together with his national team colleagues.
