The Deputy of the Zagreb County, Ervin Kolace, handed over the keys to five new emergency vehicles. The handover took place within the framework of activities aimed at strengthening the emergency medical system in the county.
The vehicles were handed over to the Institute of Emergency Medicine in Zagreb. The total value of the purchased vehicles is approximately 620,000 euros, representing a significant investment in the modernisation of the emergency service fleet.
One of the new vehicles will remain in Zaprešić. This will further ensure a rapid response in that part of the county, where the demand for emergency interventions is constant.
The remaining four vehicles will be assigned to outposts in Samobor, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Jastrebarsko and Velika Gorica. This will improve the equipment and mobility of teams in the aforementioned areas.
The purchase of the new vehicles is part of a broader strategy to improve healthcare in Zagreb County. It is expected that the new vehicles will contribute to a shorter response time and better availability of emergency medical care for the public.
