NK Graničar Kotoriba has completed a work action in which 500 square metres of turf were replaced on the main football pitch. This marked the conclusion of the turf renewal project, which was carried out as part of the club's preparations for the continuation of the season.
The club thanked everyone who participated in the turf renewal, emphasising that it was a joint effort that enabled the works to be realised. Special thanks were directed to the members and fans, as well as the players and coach of the senior team, whose engagement helped bring the job to a close.
Among those responsible for the successfully completed works, the club specifically highlighted Petar Šebestijan, who assisted with the unloading and distribution of the turf rolls. His contribution, the club states, was an important part of the logistics of the action.
The replacement of the turf on the main pitch means better conditions for training and matches for all club categories. The work action brought together people from different parts of the club community, from members and fans to players and the coaching staff of the senior team.
Graničar Kotoriba stated that such joint endeavours further strengthen the bond between the club and its surroundings, and announced that they will continue to look after the infrastructure and pitches.
