Dražen Mikulec, mayor of the Zlatar Bistrica municipality, laid flowers and lit candles at the central cross on the local cemetery in Lovrečan. This act marked the All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day celebrations, with the mayor paying tribute accompanied by his staff, members of the Municipal Council, and representatives of local associations and institutions.

The gathered crowd was blessed by Fr Ivan Hrastović, parish priest of the Parish of Saint John the Baptist. Those present jointly paid respect to all fallen and deceased Croatian defenders, as well as to all deceased residents who rest in the Lovrečan cemetery.

The laying of flowers and lighting of candles was preceded by a traditional visit to the graves of fallen defenders, organised by the Krapina-Zagorje County. During this visit, delegations laid flowers at the final resting places of two heroes from the municipality area.

Ivica Gršić is buried in the local cemetery in Lovrečan, while Marijan Basran Haban is buried in the cemetery in Donja Batina. Their grave sites were thus part of the visitation route, which every year pays due respect to those who gave their lives for the homeland.

The commemoration of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day at the Lovrečan cemetery brought together representatives of municipal authorities, council members, and members of local associations and institutions, once again confirming the tradition of jointly remembering deceased residents and defenders.
