The Homeland War veterans' association "Lijepa naša" marked the first anniversary of its founding and operations. On this occasion, a solemn session was held in the Great Hall of the City of Klanjec on Saturday, 24 October.
The ceremony was attended by members of the association, representatives of veterans' associations, local and regional self-government bodies, institutions and organisations, as well as numerous friends and supporters. Their presence rounded off a gathering that brought together actors from various segments of social and public life.
The programme began with the performance of the Croatian anthem and the association's anthem. This was followed by the central part of the commemoration, which marked the first year of the association's work.
As part of the commemoration, the association awarded deserving collaborators. This gesture expressed gratitude to those who, through their actions, contributed to the work and operations of the association over the past year.
